Sometimes carpet can have permanent stains or damage where professional carpet cleaning just can’t help. If that’s the case, Adam’s Carpet Cleaning can repair your carpet.
The first step is to have a professional carpet cleaner come out to your home or office and inspect your carpet. At this point the carpet cleaner can let you know if stain removal is still an option.
Whether you have a three foot rip or a tiny cigarette burn (or fireplace ember), we can repair almost any type of damage done to carpet.
After we repair carpet, the section that we repair will be stronger than when it was originally manufactured. We’ve done our own internal tests of our repair process and observed significant increases in carpet strength.
We are very experienced at repairing damaged carpet. We locate the exact rows where the damage starts and repair the carpet as they were laid down in the factory. The result is perfection.
Carpet transition repairs begin at $300.
Delamination is when the primary backing and the secondary backing of the carpet are detached. Delamination typically occurs after a big move or heavy furniture that has been dragged along the carpet’s surface catches and detaches the carpet backing.
The solution to repair delaminated carpet is to glue the backings together. We use a hot glue process that will adhere the backings to an even greater strength than it was originally manufactured.
Sometimes carpet will get damaged at a tack strip interface or at the edge of the carpet between a wall or non-carpeted floor. For instance, we see many cases where a dog will rip out carpet at the insertion bar (some dogs just love to bite on those things!). All of these scenarios are repairable and don’t require new carpet.
We’re so confident in the quality of our carpet repair process that we have a lifetime warranty for our carpet repairs. For the life of your carpet, if the damaged area of your carpet tears, comes loose or appears disrupted, we’ll come out at no charge and repair it.
Many insurance companies aren’t aware that delaminated carpet can be fixed. Knowing this can save a lot of money if claims are filed.
Our owner, Adam Harrod is certified for carpet repair and reinstallation. He takes continuing education workshops and has earned a certificate with Barry Costa.
Adam can detect the direction and rows of how the carpet was laid down during manufacturing. He knows how to cut carpet properly so that the cuts aren’t across rows. These artisanal techniques help to make final repairs look much more professional and perfect when the repairs are done.
