Water Damage Remediation & Restoration

What’s the difference between Adam’s Carpet Cleaning and other water damage and remediation companies?

Answer: Experience and Equipment

At Adam’s Carpet Cleaning we have decades of experience at removing water and wet carpet from buildings in record time. Many other companies just don’t have the knowledge and expertise to take care of the problems created by water damage correctly.

It’s common for them to come out to inspect, bring in dehumidifiers the next day, and slowly try to restore your home or office to a somewhat satisfactory level. But chances are, they were too slow and the process they used didn’t effectively stop the worst possible result of water damage: mold.

The fight against water damage and mold is a time sensitive one. The right team needs to be out on the front lines immediately, getting as much water and dampness out as fast as possible. At Adam’s Carpet Cleaning we have the tools that do this – which most companies don’t have at their disposal.

How do we do it?

We use a powerful truck-mounted water vacuum that has the ability to remove hundreds of gallons in no time, which is critical to fighting water damage and preventing mold. We also have dehumidifiers and high velocity fans to aid the water removal process. We use a formula to calculate how many dehumidifiers are required to evacuate the moisture from flooded spaces. This is a science to us, not just another job.

Most companies use low-power vacuums and rely on dehumidifiers to solve a water damage emergency. The issue with this approach is it’s the opposite of how you tackle this problem. There will be a higher chance of leftover moisture and mold that sets in.

Imagine three glasses full of water. For the first glass we just let natural diffusion take place and over the course of a few days or a week, all the water will turn into vapor. The second glass is placed in a room with a dehumidifier. If the space is small, and the dehumidifier is strong, the glass will be empty within 24 hours. For the third glass, we use Adam’s Carpet Cleaning’s truck mounted vacuum and the water is removed in one second. Understand why we do it this way? 🙂

So, don’t just call anyone that does water damage remediation, call a service that knows what they’re doing. It doesn’t have to be Adam’s Carpet Cleaning, but please find the right outfit. What’s most important to us is that you and your family aren’t harmed by mold.

Where can we do water damage remediation?

Note: Just because a non-carpeted floor is flooded, doesn’t mean it can’t get damaged. Be sure to get someone out to your home or facility on the double.
